THE MARAROA.
The s.s. Mararoa arrived from Southern and East Coast ports at 11 a.m. yesterday, and berthed at Quay-street Jetty No. 2. Light variable winds prevailed throughout the passage from Dunedin. The steamer will be docked in Sydney for cleaning and painting. The following have booked passages by the Mararoa, sailing for Sydney at 5.30 p.m. to-day: Misses Ayres, Young, Middieton, Montgomery, Cummings, Brumhardt, Schmidt, Abbobtt, Meetham, Lowe, Webbbe (2), Kirkes, Bramwell, Pierce, Mesdames Nolan and child, Muller, Dawson. Wise, McNicoll, Phillips, Fairfax, "Washing-ton, Jaclcson. Henshaw, CarrierWebbe, Smith, Anderson, Quinn, Mclntosh, Spooner, Kay, Young, Messrs M< W. Downey, Jas. Aicken, Schmidt, Har^greaves, M. J. Smith, W< Young, Bernard, Fairfax, R. H. McNicoll, Phillips, Chapman, Miller, Dunn, Goodall, P. McNab, Smyth, W. Mason, Capt. Beaumont, Dawson, Detingham, Hon. W. P. Crick, and 30 steerage.
