The tone of the Austrian newspapers has become decidedly more favourable to Britain. The "Nen Erie Presse" says the warmth of the King's acknowledgment of the colonies' self-sacrifice shows that Mr* Chamberlain was right in alleging that Britain was no little island empire, but represents the whole of the British race and a fifth part of th«j world.
