FEILDING, this day.

During a night attack on Saturday rrig-kt on a camp of instruction of the Rifles, Volunteer Percy Crawford, aged 17, was shot dead by one of the attacking party, who hy misadventure substituted a ball for a blank cartridge. Deceased was in a tent alone at the time.. TheJ body was not discovered until five o'clock yesterday morning. Deceased was a son of Mr R. Crawford, blacksmith. An inquest will be; held today.
