PATRIOTIC MEETING AT NELSON.
NELSON, Saturday
A monster open-air meeting was held to-night for the purpose of endorsing the resolution passed by the City Council. The speakers included the Mayor and two ex-Mayors, and much indignation was expressed In connection with what has appeared in the German papers. The resolution of the Council was endorsed, and cheers were given for the King, the Queen, and the Premier of New Zealand. The National Anthem was sung and great enthusiasm was shown.
