The Auckland Racing Club have purchased from the executors of the estate of Ireland Brothers the block of land fronting Vulcan Lane, Highstreet and O'Connell streets. The intention is to erect on the site premises more suitable for the accommodation of the club than those at present occupied in Durham-st.
