CLARKE.—On January 4th, 1902, at her residence, Clarence-street, Ponsonby, the wife of Irving ClEfrke of a daughter; both doing well.
CLAYTON.—On December 27, at Woodstreet, Ponsonby, the wife of E. M. Clayton of a daughter; both doing well. GALLOT.—On December 23rd, at her residence, Wellesley-st., West, the wile of Frederick Charles Gallot of a son (premature); both doing well. GILES.—On December 21, at her residence, Dilworth Terrace, Parnell, the wife of T. Harle Giles of a daughter. HARVEY.-On January 7th, at "Bonnie Doon," 'Onehunga, the wife of M. G. Harvey of a daughter.

Ure Macaulay, of a daughter. MELDRUM—At Huntly, on the morning of the 25th instant, Mrs W. S. Meldrum of a son. NEEDHAM.—On January 7, at Burgoynestreet, Newton, the wife of Ernest Needham of a daughter; both doing well. RICHARDSON.—On December 29th, at Penrose, the wife of G. J. Richardson, of a daughter. RUSH.-On Christmas Day, the wife of D. Rush of a daughter; both doing well. RYAN.—On January 2nd, at Papakura, the wife of D. Ryan of a daughter; both doing well. SMART.—At Tuakau, on 29th December, the wife of D. L. Smart of a son (still born). TAYLOR.—On December 13, at her residence, Birkenhead, the wife of F. Taylor of a son. TREVARTHEN.—On December 30th, at her residence Oxford-st., the wife of Henry Trevarthen, carpenter, of a daughter, both doing well. TYLER.—On December 12th, the wife of Ambrose R. Tyler, Hamilton Rd., Ponsonby, of a daughter. VAILE.—On December 23, at the residence of her brother, Mr C. Coldham, Church-street, Onehunga, the wife of Stanley E. "Vaile of a son (still-born). WALKER.—On December 23, at her residence, "Remona," Mount Eden, the wife of Alex. Howey Walker of a son. WATERTON—On December 23, at Ren-all-street, Ponsonby, the wife of C. H. Waterton of twin sons.
