FRANCE AND THE NEW HEBRIDES.
SYDNEY, Wednesday. Mr Chamberlain, replying to Mr Barton's protest against the suggested concessions to France in the New Hebrides, in exchange for Newfoundland concessions, says the position, is unchanged since his latest reply in March, which was- to the effect that no such concessions were contemplated.
