LOAN AND MERCANTILE JAGENCY COMPANY MARKET REPORT. Horses: No horse sale was held at the Durham Yards on Friday. On that day we conducted the 16th annual sale of thoroughbred yearlings bred by and the property of Mr Thos. Morrin, at his famous breeding- establishment, Wellington Park. There was a record attendance, buyers being present from all parts of New ZeaS and Australia. The batch of 30 yearlings averaged 181 guineas. Full particulars of the sale have already been pub'"ratHe- At the Newmarket Yards on Tuesday dairy and store stock were penned in average numbers and met a ready «nle Dairy cows sold from £4 15/ to t» 2/e empty cows, £?, 5/ to £4 7/6; calves, ri 2/ to £1 12/. Fat cattle in full numbers and were firm at advanced prices. Oxen sold from 20/ to 22/3 per^ 1001b; cow 17/ to 19/. Steers sold from £6 7/6 to £12 2/G- cows, £'1 5/ to £7 12/6.
