The Wellington "Post" says another old and respected colonist has passed away at Judgeford. Pah"vutanui. in the person of Mrs Davir' .ralloway, sen., at the ripe old age of 80 years. She arrived at Wellington in the ship Bengal Merchant in 1840, and encountered many hardships in the early clays. During the Maori War she was bereft of all her belongings on several occasions, and had to live in the stockade at the Lower Hutt for shelter. She is survived by her husband and family of 6 sons and 4 daughters, all of whom are married, besides 63 grandchildren and 54 great grandchildren..
