OBITUARY.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) THAMES, this day. I regret to record the death of Mr Robert 11. Wilson, manager of the Thames Gas Company's works. The deceased gentleman was born near Glasgow in IS-16, and came to Xew Zealand in the sixties. For a time he was settled in Otago. He came tc Tapu in ISGB, and subsequently went to Auckland, and returned to erec< the Thames Gas Company's plant. He was appointed manager of the company, .and held the position till tho time of his death. Some time back he met with an accident and never properly recovered. He took influenza last week and succumbed this morning, after showing a slight improvement. He was a leading member of the Presbyterian Church, an enthusiastic bowler and member of the local organisation. His death is deeply regretted. He leaves a widow, but no chiWren.
