THE WAIKARE.
The s.s. Walkare arrived from Sydney at 5 o'clock this morning, and after medical Inspection by the health officer, Dr. Shurman. berthed at the Quay-street Jetty No. 2. The purser reports that the steamer left Sydney at ii p.m. on the HL'nd instant, had Three Kings abeam at B.HO a.m. yesterday, passed Cape Maria Van Dlometi at 11.45 a.m., and arrived as above. She experienced line weather for 2-1 hours after leaving, then strong west to south-west gales and high sen to Cape Murlu, with flue clear weuther down the const.
