ST. ALBAN'S LITERARY SOCIETY,
St. Alban's Musical a>nd Literary Society met on Saturday evening at the residence of Mr C. H. Reid, the schoolroom, which is being enlarged, being roofless. The Rev. J. M. Devenish occupied the chair. The evening was occupied by the reading of the magazine edited by Mr Skelton, and the contribution^ proved both interesining; p(nt} euterttaavnrag. An item not on the programme was refreshments, which were kindly supplied by Mrs C. H. Reid.
