The Manchester Unity Oddfellows' Conference opened this 'morning. Bro. John Smith, Wellington, Avas chosen president, and Bro. J. McLeod, Auckland, secretary. The business of the Conference is to consider a motion moved by Mr McLeod in favour of electing a moveable committee and a Board of Directors. The Conference adopted Mr McLeod's resolution.
