The Radicals' pro-Boer agitation is based on Emily Hobhouse*s sensational reports with reference, to the Boer refugee camps, made on behalf of the
Distress Committee
The Rev. Adrian llofnieyer, writing to the "Times," states that he visited the same camp, and alleges that Miss Hobhouse's statements display ignorance of the real facts, and are highly coloured. He adds that the refugees admitted to him that the officials were doing everything possible.
