SENSATIONAL SUICIDE.
FORMERLY A HUNTLY DOCTOR.
SYDNEY, June 24.
Dr. Thomas Henry O'Reilly, 37, until recently practising at Huntly. New Zealand, committed suicide by puncturing- tlie femoral artery, with a safety pin. A few weeks ago he came to Sydney for the benefit of his health. On Saturday he was caught attempting to shoot himself, and at his own request was placed in a cell, under observation of the police. Until an early hour this morning he chatted with his watchers. Later he was supposed to be sleeping1, but it was discovered he was dead. The wound was inflicted under the cover of the blankets).
