SHAREMAKET.
Chehnsford shares firmed a little in price to-day on the Exchange, sales being made at 1/11 and 2/. Monowais were wanted at 2/4, and Waitekauris at 10/3, a slight improvement in each case. For iiarrier Reefs buyers came in at 2/8, but sellers asked 3/2. Tairua Broken Hill shares also had inquiry at 2/. Standard lines had fair demand at late rates.
