RECORD RAILWAY TRAFFIC.

WELLINGTON, this day.
The passenger traffic on the railway lines this week constitutes a record for the Manawatu railway line, the number,' including* volunteers, being upwards of 6500. On Government lines about 7000 passengers travelled, the number carried between suburban stations and the city being1 about 9000.
