Private J. M. Cutler (?) was killed, Private D. Maeauley severely wounded, and Private J. H. Templeton slightlywounded at Hemilfontein. Jesse W. Smith was slightly wounded at Reitfontein. All belonged to the New Zealand Motinteds. .
