THE ARCHES.
The Harbour Board arch, at the lower end of the wharf, is now well in hand. It consists of throe spans, with four square towers.- The" Municipal arch is being- covered with gTeenery, and promises to be most artistic. Several officers from the warships in port have spoken in very complimentary terms" of the Harbour Board's arch at the. head of the wharf, and.have even gone so far as to- say that it is, the most appropriate arch they have yet i seen in the colonies.
