FOOTBALL.
AUCKLAND FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION. The possibility of sending- a representative team to Otago this season was discussed last evening- at a meetin"- of the management committee of the Auckland Football Association. It was decided to telegraph to the Otago secretary to the effect that a teamcould not be sent before the end of Aug-ust.lt was also decided to postpone the senior cup matches from June 8 to 15, so that the matches arranged with the teams from the men-of-war for Saturday last can be played on June S. The following teams were re-arrang-ed for these matches: — a team against H.M.s. Torch: Goal, Southall; backs, Wright, Lloyd; halfbacks Meldrum, Rawbridge. F. Goldie; forwards, Harris, Gave, Brodie, L. Clark, H. Goldie; lineman, Mr J. Knlott. B team against combined team from H.M.s. Archer and row: Goal, Kooer; backs, Wilkinson, S. Clark; half-backs, Smart, Yates, H. Burgess; forwards, Richards, Garrett, G. Totman, Battley. Dugmoer; linesman, Mr J. Redman; emergencies: Harding, Best, Adams, Smith, Moore. The colours for the A team will be blue and white (rep.) shirts, and for the B team maroon. Afternoon tea will be provided for spectators and teams. There will be a collection on the ground in aid of funds for sending a representative team to Otago this year.
