BOTHA'S DEPUTATION.
KRUGER DEEPLY CONCERNED.
(Received 8.58 a.m.)
LONDON, June 3.
Kruger was anxious lest Botha's Secretary, and Smuts, who were to have met the Dutch Consul at Standerton, should be deputed to seek the Consul's intervention with the British to secure a truce. The Dutch Consul, however, returned to Pretoria from Standerton before the arrival of Botha's delegates.
