South African constabulary near Pretoria captured a small party, including Abram Malan, Joubert's son-in-law, w ho was until recently commandant of Pietersburg. Lord Kitchener reports two additional lieutenants of Yeomanry were killed, and another missing, at Ylakfontein on tbe 29th.
