HONOUR TO WHOM HONOUR IS DUE.
(To the Editor.)
Sir, —I notice in -your issue of the Ist June an article re the casket presented to His Excellency Lord Ranfurly by the veterans of this district. You have made a mistake in saying that it was. made by Messrs Kohn. The whole of the cabinet and lining and polishing was done by the Tonson Garlick Company. Messrs Kohn" did the silver work, and in a most satisfactory manner. It certainly does the firm credit. The address was executed by Mr Gulliver, and is a marvel of the decorative art. The casket and address will be on. public view at Messrs Kohn's shortly when the- public can judge for themselves. Verb. •sap. —I am, etc.,
L. L. LEVY. Hon. Sec. Presentation Committer.
