The Birthday Handicap, a sweep-= stakes of lOsovs each, with oOOsovs added, one mile and a-half, was won by 7 Mr D. Harris' Peeress, six years, by 7 •Pilgrim's. Progress—Precedence, 7st, 7 21b; Loch Clievedan, Dst llg, 2; Sagaicty, Bst 01b, 3. Peeress won by a length , and a half. Time, 2min 391 sec.
