THE WAIKARE.
The h s Waikafe arrived from Sydney at nt-oii to-day, and anchored in the stream nfter medical inspection by Dr. Shaman, health officer. The vessel berthed alongside Quay-street Jetty No. 2 shortly after 1 o'clock, and landed mails and passengers. The purser reports that the Waiknre left Sydney at 5.15 p.m. on the. 20th nit., bad Three' Kings abeam at 3.20 p.m. on the 2nd insr., passed Cape Maria Van Dtemeu at 53.30 p.m., and arrived at 12.15 to-day, bhe experienced strong south to south-west winds,veering to the northward with heavy beam sens across the Tasman Sea,, with strong -N.B. winds and moderate sea down the const to arrival .
