SECOND FIFTEENS.
Parnell v. Suburbs.—This was played at Ellerslie, and resulted in a win for Suburbs by 14 points to 7; B. Murray, Blackburn, Macdonald and Leathart scored tries (one converted); while for Parnell Foster kicked two goals.
Grafton v. Newton.—.Grafton won by 15 points to nil, though the match was closer than the scores indicate. The Grafton forwards were mainly responsible for the victory.
North Shore v. Ponsonby.—Ponsonby won by 4 points to 3, after a wellcontested game.
