MAKE IT AT HOME
There are many home workers, who, greatly facilitate putting it on and though fearful of attacking a fitting coat, yet will approach one of the sac variety without a qualm.
Given a g-ood pattern, which can be had for 6d, and nimble fingers, success must be to the worker.
Material? What can bo prettier than one of the friezes so fashionable just now? Choose a pretty pepper-and-salt-grey, or a pale grey-green, and a charming coat will be youra.
Pay great attention to the stitching, for which secure some tailor's machine silk. Let the stitch be large and your thread loose but even, and then go ahead, nothing fearing. If you can afford a silk lining, it will be a joy to you, but will increase the cost of your coat. If you don't line it, at any rate bind the seams, and Une the sleeves, for that will oil '
