GIGANTIC STRIKE THREATENED.

At the International Miners' Congress, representatives of the French miners tried to induce Congress to support an international strike to take place in November.
with the object of securing a larger proportion of profits. The English representatives promised to try" and limit the output of coal in the event of a French-Belgian strike.
