REMOUNTS.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, this day.
A request having been received by the City Council for the use of Nev» town Park for keeping the remounts until the arrangements are made for their embarkation for South Africa, a movement is being- made to prevent the park being- further utilised for military purposes, the fear being entertained that it may be permanently diverted from its original purposes, viz., a recreation ground.
