LONDON, May 31
Sir Edward Grey, M.P. for Berwick, addressing his constituents, saidif Sir Alfred Milner was recalled from South Africa both races would mistrust his successor. Milner must return, where at least he enjoyed the confidence of the loyalist party. The strength of th.at position, coupled with forbearance, would ultimately win the confidence of the Boers themselves.
