ACCOMMODATION FOR THE SUITE.
The destruction of the Grand Hotel has necessitated finding other accommodation for the suite of their Royal Highnesses. The Government telegraphed this morning to Mr Seymour Thorne George, president of the Northern Club, asking if it would be possible to get the use of the club for the accommodation of the Royal suite. The members of the club have graciously decided to place the club entirely at the disposal of the Government for this purpose, and in the meanwhile all members of the Northern Club will be made honary members of the Auckland Club.
