The barquentine Jerfalcon arrived here on the 4th April from Melbourne vfa Rarotonga, after a long passage of 45 days. She landed timber, iron Panics etc." (orders from men working It Maiden Island), and paid away some' £350 wages due to labourers at the same island, and as advance to S new men shipped for a_« mantig work at the guv.no island. She left rain on the 9th for Maiden. From there the vessel will convey time-ex-pired labourers to Niue Island, then return to Maiden for time-expired mPn for Aitutaki. From Artutaki she proceeds on to a New Zealand port with guano.
