WAJKATO MARKETS.
MR W. J. HUNTER'S OHAUPO SALE
At Mr W. J. Hunter's yards on Tuesday
there was only a moderate muster of stock, übout 300 head of all classes. Dairy cows and calves were fairly represented. Store cows were also plentiful, but the demana was limited; in fact, the market was down for all classes, and many pens were passed. The following are the prices:—Dairy cows, £4 2/6 to £5 10/; cows, with calves at foot, £4 15/; spring ins heifers, £4 3/; 10-months-old steer calves, £2; mixed calves, 80/ to 36/; 3-year-old Bteers, £5 4/; grown steers, £6 S/j 18-months steers, £3 7/ to £3 10/; 21----year steers, £4 15/ and £4 6/; 16-month eteers, £3 5/; 2-year halfere, £2 fy; empty Bt(Kfl CO.ws, JB3 XL to £3 IS>& ,„
