On Sunday last the schooner Cava« lier, owned and sailed by Roderique> of Riverton, was in Mason Bay, on thf west side of Stewart Island, making a trip, to bring1 back the mutton-birdets, when a heavy gale came on. and ia attempting to run for shelter at Natm Island, the jib carried away.
