SATURDAY'S MATCHER,

At the weekly meeting of the Auckland Rugby Union last evening, a protest was received from the Ponsonby first fifteen against last Saturday's match being awarded to Parnell, on the ground that Parnell had played a man who was not eligible. The protest was upheld, and the, match awarded to Ponsonby. Arrangements were made as under for Saturday's matches: FIRST FIFTEENS.. No. 1 ground—Newton v. I Graf ton, Mr. Mackie. No. 2 ground—Suburbs v. Parnell, Mr. Campbell, At North Shore—Ponsonby v. North Shore, Mr. Gittos. SECOND FIFTEENS. No. 3 ground—Newton v. Grafton, Mr. Greenhough. At Ellerslie—Suburbs v. Parnell, Mr. Murray. At Takaptma—Ponsonby v. North Shore, Mr. Kerr. THIRD FIFTEENS. No. 4 ground—City v. Newton, Mr. Kuox. No. 5 ground—Grafton v. Parnell, Mr. Surman. No. 6 ground—Ponsonby A v. Ponsonby B, Mr. White.
