Extradition proceedings in connection with Marshall, who was ar.rested some time ago on.a charge of forging a cheque for £201 in South Africa, failed. Air. Justice Hood ruled that the Magistrate had no power to sign a warrant retaining accused in custody. Marshall was therefore discharged.
