LONDON, May 21
Seheeper's commando, which has teen for some time in the central districts of Northern Cape Colony, has been so severely hustled by the British that ft has dwindled to a hundred strong1. Kruitzinger and the rebel leader lititigan, with SOO men, have re-enter-ed Cnpe Colony, and are trying to aid Fouctie.
Small British patrols have been ambushed, captured, and subsequently released.
A party of Boers intercepted Warhnrton and Brownell. two TasmanJans. The colonials sheltered behintl frees, and made splendid practice oil the enemy, thrice repulsing , them. They shot their own horses for cover. Warbirrton was shot in the head, and Brownell, when he had fired his last cartridge, surrendered. A Boer shot him in the shoulder. Brownell was stripped and released. Warbur.ton's injury proved fatal.
