SUDDEN DEATH.
Mrs Frank O'Dowd (nee Kyan),. the wife of the licensee of the Criterion Hotel, Albert-street, died at haltf-past five this morning. It is stated that an operation had been performed and that subsequently inflammation set in, with fatal results. The circumstances ■were such that the Coroner decided an inquest was necessary. The inquest was proceeding at the Criterion Hotel .this afternoon. The deceased, who had only been married a few weeks, was well-known and very popular in the city, and much sympathy is felt tax Mr".O'Dowd in his bereavement.
