A MAGNIFICENT TROPHY.

MELBOURNE, May 17
The Victorian Government presented the Duke of York with a magnificent trophy in the form of a pedestal of blackwood, festooned with gold, and with a crest of Prince of Wales' feathers formed of New South Wales diamonds. One hundred and ninetyseven diamonds w«re used. The gift is a souvenir of the opening- of the Federal Parliament.
