(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Saturday. David Baxter, the well-known wine merchant, and prominent bowler, died suddenly this morning1. FEIiDING, Saturday. An inquiry was held yesterday into the origin of the fire of last week, by which eight 'business premises were destroyed. The jury returned a verdict that there was no evidence to show how the fire originated. .NEW PLYMOUTH, this day. The Customs revenue for February amounted to £ 1842, against £ 1488 fOl February of 1900. The exports from the breakwater in the same period were valued at «$£ 94,748, againsi £65,176. t WANGANUr, Friday. In the Supreme Court, in the divorce case W. J. G. Todd, of Wanganui, v. Rosa Todd, respondent, and W. M. Sne&don, co-respondent, a decree nisi was granted, to be made absolute in three months, with costs as per scale, and disbursements. The evidence showed that co-respondent and respondent are now living in Wellington as man and wife.
