Drunkenness. —Two first offenders were convicted of this offence and discharged,while a third, who did -lo'. appear was fined 3/, to be deducted from the bail money. Michael Fagan and Albin Ilausin were each fined .">/, or :M hours in default.

Unlawfully on Premises. —James Paul and William (ilass were each sent to prison for 7 days for beingfound without lawful excuse on the; premises of Morpelh Bros., Beach Road. J Stowa|(vays. — Karl Fischer and" Augus^Krueger, charged ,with travelling jfoin Sydney to Auckland by theSonoma without payingl their fart', were fined £4, the amount of the fare, or one month's imprisonment in default.

Breach of Prohibition Order.—Wm, Dalziel, a prohibited person, was fined 40/ and costs, or seven days' imprisonment in default, for being found on licensed premises.

Riding1 on the Footpath.—lda Thorite George pleaded guilty to riding a bicycle on the Hemueia footpath, and was1 cautioned. Adjourned. —Elizabeth Snellor wus charged with keeping a brothel in Cook-street. Evidence for the prosecution wns given by Constable Finnerty, by one of the girls living in the house, and by a neighbour. These witnesses gave the house a very bad character. The case was adjourned till Wednesday to enable witnesses to be called for the defence

Obscene Language.—Alexander Will and James McKtmna were convicted of using obscene language in a public place, and were discharged with a caution.
