SYDNEY, March 3

The Board of Health, having been officially informed that the tjne«no--sand ease is true plague, stringent measures against Qiieensland shipping have been again enforced. The military authorities at the Cape have advised Sir W. Lyue that owingl to the plague at Capetown the Australian military mails will be sent via London. A suspected case of plague.was discovered on the troopship Antillian from Capetown. The ship was immediately quarantined. Olsen, the Antillian's*suspected plague patient, died to-night. He developed s\ispieious symptoms on Wednesday last. Until the diagnosis is completed to-morrow the nature of the disease cannot be definitely stated.Medical opinion is that if is plague, but that there is no need for alarm. The Antillian never came, near the wharf. i BRISBANE, March 3. The plague victim is a youth named Kehler. Curative serum is being used with good effect. SYDNEY, this day. \ The president of the Board of Health says that there is not the slightest doubt that the ease on the Antillian is one of true plague. He visited the troopship, which he found infested with rats. Many rats died on the voyage. He examined one of these, and found that it undeniably died of plague. Olson was engaged in the hold, and probably handled dead rodents.
