LONDON, March 3
The bye-election in Maidstone necessitated by the unseating of John Barker (Liberal) on appeal on the ground of bribery on the part of his agents at the general election resulted: Sir Francis Evans (Liberal), 2375; Mr Milvan (Conservative), 2252.
