Hides: Dull^a few sold at about a farthing: decline. Basils also declined a farthing. Copper: Supplies received during February, 19,907 tons; deliveries, 19.816 tons; stocks, 28,995. Advices have Wen received from Australia that 2550 tons of tin have been shipped. Stocks total 16,065 tons; spot, 4853; afloat, 34fi9; deliveries, 2590. Tallow: Stock, 13,906 casks; import* 5714; deliveries, 5095. Silver, 2/41. Wheat: The Aorangi's cargo sold at 30/ li. WELLINGTON, this day. The Agricultural Department has received the following from the AgentGeneral, dated 3rd March: "Buttor. 100/, demand good, New Zealand butter is giving satisfaction to buyers. Cheese, CO/; market dull. Consider prices for cheese likely to improve. The hemp market is very firm. Good fair, £23 10/; auction sales this week closed with strong demand. Cocksfoot averaged 82/."
