Wakefield 11. V. Grey Lynn.—Wakefield won this match by 109 runs, the following being the scores:—Wakefield, first innings, 91: W. Robinson 37, McKay 19, Barr Brown 12, not out. Second innings, 92: Barr Brown 27, W. Robinson 23. Grand ' total, 183. Grey Lynn, flrst Innings, 43: Te Rua 19. Second innings. 31: Bridges iO. Grand total. 74. In the bowling R. Magee for Wakefield secured 7 wickets for 27, performing the hat trick in the first innings. McKay (4 for 19), Higgins (5 for 16), and Heald (3 for 5) were also very successful. Bowling for Grey Lynn, H. Blincoe (7 for 64), Bridges (6 for 38), and Miller (4 for 43) bowled well.
Auckland v. Pitt-street.—This match resulted in a win for Pitt-street by 7 wickets. The scores were: Auckland, first innings, 37; second innings, 33. Pitt-street, flrst innings, 35; second innings, 37 for 3 wickets. For Auckland Eastgate took 7 wickets for "0 runs. For Pitt-street H. Fen wick took 12 wickets for 31 runs.
