BARRIER REEFS
All the stopes are in good milling ore. The main stopc in the west end of Xo. ',) level is looking well, and some of the ore there is of very high gra.de. The east drift is in :210 feet from the shaft. The reef in the face is 18 inches wide, and has improved in grade during the week. IMPERIAL. The half-yearly meeting of shareholders in the Imperial G.M. Company, convened yesterday afternoon in Mr 11. Gilnllans office, lapsed. The directors' report slated that the Hoard had been approached with a view to placing the company's property under option. A cash price had been named, which the Hoard Would recommend the share holders to accept, plus the cost of. any plant which might be erected in the meantime. The accounts showed the total, receipts L'o77 i/">, and after disbursements there was a credit balance of emu i-i/G.
