At a meeting convened by the Mayor Of Duaediu to consider the best means «rf perpetuating the memory of her late Majesty Queen Victoria, two proposals 'were submitted, viz., a. free public library and reading-room and the erection of a statue. It was decided by over two votes to one to erect a •Btatue, and a committee was appointed $o carry out the matter. WOLFE'S SCHNAPPS Superior to all other spirits.
