WOODVILLE, Thursday. At the Woodville meeting to-day the following were the results:—
Autumn Handicap: l-Jattleaxe and Will-o'-the-Wlsp ran a dead heat, Siriu.s 3. A hostile demonstration was made against the judge, the crowd favouring Battieaxe. Time, 1.58 4-5. Dividends, £1 3/ and. £2 8/.
Welter Handicap: General Wolfe 1, Komutu 2, Forest Oak 3. Dividend, £5 11/.
Railway Stakes: Hiamoe 1, Dewdrop 2, Laurestina 3. All started. Time, 1.6 1-5. Dividend, £3 17/.
Hack Scurry: Valkyrie 1, Nabochlish 2, Greensleeves 3. Scratched: Beitick, St. Lyra, Kahutaurangi, Aldinga. William Tell, Sylvie, Herminius, Sea King. Dividend, .El 18/. Time, 1.7 4-3.
High Weight Handicap: Brllliantlno 1, The Hemple 2, Jadoo 3. All started. Time, 1.47 4-5. Dividend, £S (>/. During the two days the sum of £9360 was passed through the tptallsator. Two prominent features of the meeting were the excellent starting of Mr T. Cameron (Bulls) and the handicapping of Mr J. E. Henrys. Six races of to-day's programme were almost dead heats.
