Tbe Wesleyan Conference mission report, referring to the charge against the Rev. Slade, of Fiji, that he had been carrying on a political agitation in favour of federation with N.Z., stales that the Board of Missions has passed a resolution that they cannot see their way clear to comply with the request made by the Governor of Fiji to remove Mr Slade. They await fuller information concerning the charges before taking further steps.
