FROZEN POULTRY SHIPMENT.

WELLINGTON, this day,

The Agricultural Department has arranged to send a consignment of frozen poultry, ducks and fowls to South Africa by the Otarama, which leaves Lyttelton on the 9th. proximo. If the shipment is a success the Department will probably send larger consignments to the same market by the steamers w*hich the New Zealand Shipping Company and the Shaw, Savill a.nd Albion Company have arranged to despatch from New Zealand at regular intervals. •
